One of China's most acclaimed theatre directors, Meng Jinghui is most known for his iconoclastic experimental works which are highly influential among the young vanguard of Chinese theatre and flim directors. Meng is a director at the National Theatre of China and is well known for his creative and versatile arts which has opened up new aspects of contemporary Chinese theatre. Meng’s most recent work includes Amber, The Flower in the Mirror & the Moon on the Water, The Bald Soprano, and Murder of Hanging Garden. Meng was also the Artistic Director of Beijing International Fringe Festival, 2008.
